|UNDERGROUND UTILITY COMPANY SINCE 1990
Having successfully completed hundreds of projects since our founding in 1990. JMB has become a respected Bay Area leader in utility and general engineering construction. We perform a wide variety of public agency projects including underground pipeline, pump stations, water/wastewater treatment plants, structural and flatwork concrete, and many other general engineering projects. We take particular pride in our unique ability to perform difficult deep excavation and dewatering jobs.
One of the reasons for our continued success is that we perform most of the construction utilizing our own work forces, which better allows us to control cost and the project schedule. To assist our crews we utilize a modern fleet of equipment and trucks along with customized equipment suited for deep underground construction.
With two safety managers and an in-house safety incentive program our firm puts a primary focus on preventing all accidents and maintaining our excellent EMR safety rating.
While JMB most often is the prime contractor, we also have worked as a subcontractor with some of the largest General Contractors in the business. Along with our outstanding capabilities and competitive pricing, we can also offer them the added benefit of being a Certified Woman Owned Business Enterprise (WBE)
JMB gets the work done and we do so with a collaborative management approach with the project owner and their team. Our project managers and engineers are "hands-on" and understand what it takes to deliver a quality project on time and on budget.
